KRISTEENYOUNG (aka Kristeen Young).

This woman is probably my favorite artist. She is by FAR the most underrated songstress I have ever came across. This woman will single-handedly decapitate you with her tragic piano blows and banshee-esque wails that could shred the skin straight away from your tiny skull.
I found Kristeen completely by accident. A long time ago, I came across Girl in a Coma (a pretty amazing band- check ‘em out) who had been brought to fame by Joan Jett. Fast forward, I went to their wikipedia page where it was reported that GIAC was hired in place of Kristeen Young who had been formerly fired by singer and world-renown tight-ass, Morrissey. I immediately thought to myself, “fuck man, this bitch is gonna be crazy.” And she was. And she is. Not meaning to offend, this woman destroys- and I mean DESTROYS Girl in a Coma and Morrissey. She makes contemporary singers sound like babies with her incredible four-octave range. Kristeen sings of things most people can barely stand to think of.
This woman has changed the hell outta my life.
And I don’t want my old life back.

In its newest exhibition, the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., takes on a topic near and dear to us all: home.
Running through the center of the exhibition, which includes actual wall frames and a spread of some 200 quintessential household objects, is a fabulous row of 14 celebrated American houses, reproduced as intricate scale models.
